Your product is a kind of movie
In the Tramontana Institute product management program, I advocate an approach to industries that operate at the intersection of art, business, and technology.
This is the intersection where that which we know as experiences is invented and materialized.
It's also a healthy, even fun, way to distance oneself from a purely executive and technical approach.
There are several works that offer great inspiration in this regard, and where references and analogies can be found that anyone involved in this profession will recognize as familiar.
In the program, we prioritize one above the rest: Sidney Lumet's "Making Movies." This is partly due to my personal preference for this director; partly because, as the title suggests, he manages to effectively combine an empirical approach, based on his own experience, with a theoretical and inspirational approach, often precious; and finally, because his own professional career (from 1957 to 2007) allows him to incorporate trends with a very broad spectrum.
